What to Expect During the Procedure
One of our nationally certified Computed Tomography (CT) technologists will escort you
to the table and ask you to lie down on your back or front. Computed Tomography Angiography (CTA) is an examination that screens
for arterial disease throughout the body, including arteries in the brain as well as those bringing
blood to the heart, lungs, kidneys, liver, and arms and legs. For this procedure it is very important that you receive IV
contrast, to visualize vascular structures. Our CT procedures usually take between 10-30 minutes.
How Should I Prepare?
One of our representatives will call to confirm your appointment, go over some health questions and will also remind you of your exam
No food or drink by mouth (NPO) 2 hours prior to this procedure.

What to Expect After the Procedure
We suggest plenty of clear liquids for the next 24 hours. Reports will be sent to your physician within 5 business days.
