What to Expect During the Procedure

One of our nationally certified Computed Tomography (CT) technologists will escort you to the table and ask you to lie down on your back or front. Computed Tomography Angiography (CTA) is an examination that screens for arterial disease throughout the body, including arteries in the brain as well as those bringing blood to the heart, lungs, kidneys, liver, and arms and legs. For this procedure it is very important that you receive IV contrast, to visualize vascular structures. Our CT procedures usually take between 10-30 minutes.
