CT of Head, Facial, Sinus, Temp bones or Mastoids
What to Expect During the Procedure
One of our nationally certified Computed Tomography (CT) technologists will escort you to the table and ask you to lie down on your stomach (prone), or back.
Not many of our above CT procedures require IV contrast. If your procedure requires IV contrast you will be asked to sign an informed consent form, once the
consent is signed, an IV will be started before you are taken into the CT scanner for your procedure. Our CT procedures usually take between 5-20 minutes.
