We are looking for a Full Time MRI Technologist. This position would rotate the day and evening shifts with the other technologist. Most work hours would be Monday through Friday.
Weekend and call work would be rotated with the other technologists (approximately every 12 weeks.)
- Two years of experience as a MRI Technologist.

This position is Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm with the ability to work an occasional early morning shift as needed. The basic duties for this position are as follows:
Performs film check-in and check-out with both patients and couriers.
Pulling and filing back of mammo jackets and reports.
Hang films for reading on alternators.
Pick up dictated films from reading rooms.
Preparation and mailing of out-of-town films back to their locations.
Purging of mammo file room.
Performs any other tasks requested by the supervisor
1-2 years of clerical experience.
Knowledge of basic clerical skills, filing procedures, and computer skills.
Knowledge of methods and procedures of retention and storage of patient film files.
Ability to sort and file materials correctly by alphabetic or numeric sequence.
Ability to read, understand, and follow oral and written instruction.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff.

This position provides network administration support to Radiology Associates of Tallahassee computer systems, network operating systems and system networks (both LAN and WAN) to include telephone systems.
Responsibilities and Duties
Assists with the overall administration of computer systems and IT personnel supervision as related to Radiology Associates of Tallahassee and Tallahassee Diagnostic Imaging.
Assists in the administration and development of internal department policy and procedures.
Consults with users and conduct information assessments to determine user needs and to define systems requirements with management.
Assesses the effectiveness of hardware, software, and communications performance.
Assists in the monitoring of computer hardware to ensure it is properly maintained.
Coordinates with the IT Director for the acquisition of hardware, software, and services (including maintenance).
Conducts on-going computer system audits to evaluate the utility and efficiency of the system’s hardware, software, and communications components.
Assists in the establishment of methods and procedures for use of desktop computer systems including hardware, software, communications, and user training.
Coordinates and ensures the standard implementation of policies, procedures and systems operations as it applies to non-radiologist users.
Assists with administering the Teleradiology Systems at local hospitals supported by Radiology Associates of Tallahassee
Responsible for the delivery and access to office email servers and communication equipment; assures secure connectivity to synchronize with this email system from various clients.
Responsible for the administration of the corporate proxy server; performs structured and random audits of information captured on this server for internal review. Creates an overview of internet resource utilization to make public to administration.
Responsible for tracking server hardware and software licensing.
Monitors the performance of systems and data backups for all departments.
Assists in the design, development and deployment of the Local Area Network(s).
Assists in establishing and maintaining connectivity to the Wide Area Networks.
Assists in the development and deployment of telephony and dictation systems.
Provides desktop and user support for all departments including Administration, Billing, RA front office, Women’s Imaging, and Tallahassee Diagnostic Imaging.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelors in a technical systems discipline or an equivalent combination of training, education and experience in network system administration. A+ or Net+ (preferred); MCP or MCSE (preferred); Help Desk industry recognized certification e.g. HDI, STI, SSPA (preferred)
Six (6) years of network administration experience or 4 year bachelor’s degree in IT with 2 years direct network administration with Microsoft products: Domain administration and deployment; DNS administration; MS Exchange administration; web server deployment and administration; virtualization experience/administration with VMWare or Hypervisor; familiarity with redundancy/mirroring technologies and disaster planning and recovery technologies.
