MRI Tech

We are looking for a Full Time MRI Technologist. This position would rotate the day and evening shifts with the other technologist. Most work hours would be Monday through Friday.

Weekend and call work would be rotated with the other technologists (approximately every 12 weeks.)

Requirements

  • Two years of experience as a MRI Technologist.

Medical Scheduler

We are looking for a Full Time Medical Schedule to work Monday-Friday 8am-5pm or 9p-6p.

Requirements:

  • Must be able to type 35 wpm

MRI Director

DescriptionRadiology Associates of Tallahassee is a mid-size 20 physician practice located in Tallahassee Florida. Our group provides services to two hospitals and professional services at numerous other facilitates. In addition we operate in a 55,000 sq.ft. state of art physician owned outpatient imaging services.  This facility is multi-modality and leads the community in terms of technology, patients and referrals.  This facility provides services which include, MRI, CT, Mammography, Plain Film, Nuclear Medicine, PET, Ultrasound and Interventional services.

General.  Under the direction of the CEO/Practice Administrator and in collaboration with the MRI Physician Chairman, you will provide administrative and clinical direction and the coordination of all MRI operational activities.  Our MRI service line has 7 MRI units, 36 employees and performs over 20,000 studies per year. Our MRI’s are both hospital based and imaging center based. This position is highly visible within our organization.  We are looking for candidates that are upwardly mobile and are willing to be promoted into additional clinical areas as they develop in our organization.

Essential Duties:

  • Identify, develop and improve MRI operations consistent with market opportunity, patient need and financial feasibility across the MRI service line.
  • Work with senior leadership and provide input to develop strategy, promote operational and clinical standards, and ensure that services meet the needs and demands of referring physician and patients.
  • Work and coordinate with other departments including IT, Customer Service, and Front Desk, to ensure the highest level of patient care and patient experience.
  • Understand and respond to the health needs of the community through education, advocacy, partnership and program development.
  • As requested, represent the MRI Service Line at Radiologist BOD meeting and Hospital planning meetings.
  • Provide an active role in support of recruitment of MRI technologists and clinical and non-clinical support staff.
  • Prepare and participate in the development of the annual operating budget, and reporting of key metrics for the MRI Service Line.
  • Ensure the productivity, training and quality of MRI technologists and clinical support staff.
  • Provide administrative leadership in the area of general operations of the MRI service line.
  • Oversee ensure all direct reports to you adhere to the compliance standards and applicable policies and procedures.
  • Identify key opportunities on both the out-patient and in-patient areas and develop strategic growth initiatives.
  • Ensure that the care provided by the MRI service line serves meets and exceeds patient and referring needs.
  • Identify gaps in MRI service line workflow and opportunities to build on the existing strengths across the enterprise.
  • Identify ways the MRI service line can reduce unnecessary resource utilization while maintaining quality of care.
  • Provide leadership for the MRI service line in meeting the goals for patient and employee satisfaction.

 Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience as an Radiologic Technologist.
  • At least 3 years in clinical  supervisor role.
  • Bachelors or MBA preferred but not required.
